It's no secret that our planet is in trouble. There are lots of different factors, but one of the biggest is pollution. Our oceans have become so littered with plastic and other trash that scientists now predict that there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish by 2050. Imagine taking your children or grandchildren fishing 30 years from now. Instead of a fish, they catch an old plastic bag. After sitting in the hot sun for a while, maybe they want to go play in the water to cool off. When they come back, they have pieces of plastic caught in their hair.
But we can stop it...
None of us want this to become our reality. But if we don't take action, it will. The good news is that we can still do something about it.
